How we use it and our lawful basis

  • To respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and supply products. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
  • To assess franchise applications, on the basis of our legitimate interest in selecting franchise partners.
  • To understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means.

Who we share it with

  • Web3Forms, the service that delivers website form submissions to our inbox.
  • Google, for Google Analytics and Google Ads, only where you have consented to those cookies.
  • Our website hosting and email providers, who store data on our behalf.
  • Manufacturing and installation partners, where needed to answer your enquiry.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we take steps to make sure appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law are in place.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to respond and to manage any business relationship that follows, and for as long as we must to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Information about enquiries that do not lead to business is deleted when we no longer need it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to have it transferred to you or another organisation, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
